Update: Cancelled due to COVID-19… Challenging hike and wild swims
May 3 @ 8:30 am - 2:30 pm$49
**Update: Cancelled due to COVID-19. In addition to social distancing which was already in place, on 29 March the National Cabinet agreed to further limit most indoor and outdoor non-essential gathering to 2 people. At this stage, trips are on hold until further notice.**
Check out some of the beautiful and lesser known treasures of the lower Blue Mtns. The hike is awesome, with heaps of stuff to see including Aboriginal sites, lush, green gullies and beautiful views. If you fancy it, make splash in a beautiful, wild swimming hole – or enjoy chilling out by the waters edge. Be prepared for a reasonably adventurous trip – if you have some bushwalking experience, this trip will be perfect for you (it’s a solid hike and I don’t want to throw you into the deep end!).
Level: Intermediate plus (approx 13-15kms including two biggish climbs). Part of the route is also quite overgrown and a bit of a scramble at one point – bring your sense of adventure!
Location: Lower Blue Mountains, so it’s only just over 1hr on the train from Central. We’ll start approx 8:30am with exact time decided when the timetable is confirmed to link with train times. We’ll start and finish near Glenbrook station aiming for the train back to Sydney to finish. NB Finish time is approximate.
Live Adventure provides:
- Logistics, timing, planning all organised – you just turn up to the meet point
- Small group for personalised experience
- Friendly and experienced guide qualified in 1st aid and emergency procedures (with 1st aid kit)
- Get fit while having a fun adventure in a beautiful, natural location
Just wear comfortable walking clothes and be ready to have fun! I’ll send you all the details including the exact meeting point the week before.
Spaces are limited and trips do sell out – book now so you don’t miss out!
